In GCU’s BA in Government: Legal Studies program, students examine the evolution of American democracy through the lens of historical context and modern governance. Coursework promotes critical analysis and legal reasoning while exploring how foundational legal philosophies are applied to contemporary issues of legal and civic concern. Students are challenged to think critically about the negotiation and resolution of legal matters while tracing the development of the U.S. Constitution from its colonial origins to current interpretations.
